Will have to post later!

Sorry to report that, after an awesome time in Venice and Rome, we will not have internet coverage necessary to post about it all for at least week! We are trying to find a place where we can do so, but we'll have to see!

Thanks for following along! Will post as soon as we can!

The Castle!

A hearty thank you to Mrs. C for letting us know about this beautiful castle!

Our room is the fourth window up!

This is the view from our room... we had checked in after dark, so this was fun to wake up to!

The town of Millstatt, Austria... reflecting beautifully in the lake!

Good night!

Munich to Prague to Millstatt in 14 hours!

We woke up early to catch a bus to Prague in order to rent our car and immediately head off to Millstatt, Austria and we captured these photos as we were on the road!

Prague!

Some beautiful town in the Czech Republic!

A little Austrian flavor for ya!

Heading into (and over) the Austrian Alps...

Reminds me of the Sierra Buttes back home!

Sunset in Austria...

A little more sunset silhouette beauty... caught by Bekah from a quickly moving car!

Bekah just has to have GAS!!!

I don't know if this clothing store would do all too well in the States... :O)

Munich!!!

We only had half a day in Munich, so we had a delicious meal at an authentic Bavarian Restaurant and then caught a few sites!

Marienplatz!

Marienplatz... from a different angle.

A full concert in the street... grand piano and all!

Auf Deutchland!

That's Germany down there...

Thank you plane for bringing us to Munich safely. And also thank you for having awesome movies and television shows to watch too! :O)

Henna!

Bekah wanted to rock some henna, so... here it is! Don't worry, it's not permanent... we think. :O)

As we searched for a person to do henna for her, she went to a salon. The way to this salon was up this elevator which did not allow men as men are not allowed in a woman's salon. Not that the sign is necessary... men would never choose to go to a salon!

Stage 1: The gooey stage.

Stage 2: The pale stage.

Stage 3: The cool stage.

From here, it fades into oblivion. It should be gone in less than 2 weeks. Fun, eh?

Al Mandarin(e)!!!

The thing about Qatar that I have spoken the most about is hands down the juice at this amazing little Juice shop called Al Mandarin (or Al Mandarine... depending on whether you're looking at the menu or the sign outside :O). So, high on our priority list was hitting this gem up!

THAT is what I'm talking about!!!!! The crazy thing is that the white layer is avocado!

The Old Souq

What is a souq? Well, it is an outdoor mall... like in Aladdin!

They sell EVERYTHING here!!!

Just in time for Easter!!!

One of these is not like the other... (Freddi and Linda, I figured you'd like this one :O)

Delicious Iranian meal with our friends!

Straight out of Aladdin!

Qatar!

So... 3 years ago, I (Steven) got to go to Qatar with an awesome team from Sandals to visit some friends who were living there. So, rather than having a brutal layover in Dubai (13 hours through the night), we swapped flights to Qatar! This was only made possible by some new friends, the Costins (you rock!), who put us up! Now, Bekah got to see Qatar... in it's much improved state from when last I visited!

Here are some sights from around town...

Yup, we're not in Kansas anymore...

And believe it or not, we're not in Venice either... this is just a mall here in Qatar.

The Mosque at the new Cultural Center in Doha.

The Spiral Mosque. I took a photo very similar to this last time I was here... with Kris V's help of coure. :O)

I don't know the name of this new Mosque, but it is MASSIVE!

I never thought I'd see this... but it RAINED in Qatar! Crazy!!!!

Out of Africa!

Good bye Africa!

Dar Es Salaam!

So, we only had an evening and a morning in Dar, so we made the most of it. First, we got to meet and stay with some amazing new friends who we cannot wait to see again! (Thank you SO much for having us!) Second, we got to go around and see all of the favorite spots of our dear friend Freddi who grew up here!

St. Joseph's Cathedral!

St. Joseph's Convent!

We hope this is what used to be "Cozy Cafe!"

And Coco Beach!
