The first day in Bangkok, we did a tour of a couple Buddhist Temples as you do. Here are some photos from our day of touring.
Wat Pho, the reclining Buddha is 46 meters long and 15 meters high! All coated with gold!
All these Buddhas are in the same position, but have different faces as they are the face of those who had them made and placed at this temple.
The Marble Temple was built by the King from "The King and I."
This is the palace of the King from "The King and I"... built with Western Architecture on the outside, but Thai decor on the inside. If only we could have gone in... :O(
