A day trip through Marche!

On Easter Sunday, we went for a day trip through the Marche region to a couple recommended stops... Urbino, Urbania, and another little town which I have momentarily forgotten the name of. Sorry.

Urbino!

Urbino is a cute town, but is most famous for being where Rafael came from! (shoot... Leonardo, Michelangelo, and now Rafael... and apparently Donatello was born in Florence as well... so we hit up all four ninja turtles!!!)

This is Rafael's house!

This is Rafael's kitchen!!!!

This town was crazy fun with all of it's craft stalls and even this bit of randomness! While we missed mass (that we wouldn't have been able to understand anyway), we did get to hear the bells from all the church towers many a time which was super fun!

While Urbino was crazy busy and filled with amazing randomness, Urbania was a ghost town this Easter Sunday. We were able to capture some fun photos like this one though.

This photo in Urbania is super fun! I think, if you were to miss this stop sign while driving, you might just have a case to appeal the ticket.

Just some random Italian town beauty.

Some pretty stuff along our drive.

Some more pretty stuff.
