They carved this game (sort of looks like backgammon) into the steps of the market place... it served a game room as well!
This Byzantine church was sadly never used as the dome kept on caving in...
This capital has a cross with ivy on it as ivy must cling to something solid to survive and thrive. I like it!
Bekah did not share my appreciation of how beautiful this little guy was. :O)
